Take a moment to read this brief overview of the payment process before proceeding to our secure site for processing credit card payments, UNC Charlotte’s e-commerce MarketPlace. You may print this page but that’s probably not necessary as the payment process is fairly self-explanatory.
Your first stop at the MarketPlace will be the welcome screen. Simply click the payment icon to continue.
At the next screen you’ll be asked to enter the dollar amount of your payment. After entering the amount, click the “add to cart” button.
The amount of your payment will be confirmed at the top of the next screen. On this page you’ll enter some additional information. In the box that asks “reason for payment,” please type in “Optics Workshop” or something similarly descriptive. When done, click the "continue" button.
The next screen confirms your selections and gives you the option to continue shopping or to checkout. Please select “checkout,” because "continue shopping" takes you back to the beginning.
The next screen asks for your email address. (The email address you enter here is where UNC will send your payment confirmation.) After entering your email address, click “continue.”
The next screen is where you you’ll enter your credit card information. When done, click “Use this payment method.”
The next screen will be for review and confirmation of your credit card information, followed by a screen confirming your payment, which can be printed.
