“Lighting-Class LEDs -
Displacing traditional lighting technologies”

BIOSKETCH:

Casey Burkhart is a Process Engineer at Cree. She spent time in the role of Product Operations Planner for the Solid State Lighting Business Unit before transitioning to her current role in engineering.  She oversees material characterization of encapsulation materials for XLAMP components.  Casey is an alumni holding a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte focusing on the electroluminescence of Gallium Nitride light emitting diodes.

Ron Hall has been employed with Cree since 2005, and was involved in the early launch and sales of the Cree XLamp® high-power LEDs product line.  Since that time, Ron has held four different positions within the sales and marketing department at Cree and is now responsible for the management of the Cree Solutions Providers program, which is made up of integrators who are capable of designing and manufacturing complete light-engine solutions using Cree’s XLamp® LEDs.
